Job Type: Full-time, Temporary (Post-Half Term until Christmas)
Salary: Competitive, paid weekly via PAYE
Start Date: After October Half Term

About the Role

Career Teachers is working with an Ofsted-rated ‘Good’ secondary school in North Sheffield to recruit a Cover Supervisor for a long-term role starting after the October half term and continuing until Christmas.

This is a fantastic opportunity to gain classroom experience, support students across a range of subjects, and work in a welcoming and supportive school environment.

Responsibilities

• Supervise lessons during teacher absences across KS3 and KS4
• Deliver pre-prepared lesson plans and ensure students remain engaged
• Manage classroom behaviour and promote a positive learning environment
• Support students with their learning and encourage participation

Requirements

• Experience working with young people in an educational setting (preferred)
• Strong communication and classroom management skills
• A proactive and flexible approach to supporting learning
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service – or willingness to obtain one.
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting student welfare
