We’re looking for a patient, confident and resilient Behaviour Support Assistant to work with pupils who have social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) needs in a primary setting in South Leeds.
This role would suit someone who is calm under pressure and passionate about helping children regulate their emotions and thrive in learning.
You will:
- Support children 1:1 or in small groups
- Help implement individual behaviour plans
- Work closely with the SENCO and class teachers
- Encourage positive relationships and self-esteem
Requirements:
- Experience working with children with SEMH or behavioural needs
- A compassionate, consistent, and positive approach
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
