🏫 The Role:

As a Cover Supervisor, you’ll step into the classroom in the absence of the regular teacher, delivering pre-set work and maintaining a positive learning environment. It’s a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience, develop classroom management skills, and make a real impact.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Supervising classes across a range of subjects
• Delivering pre-prepared lesson plans and ensuring pupils stay on task
• Managing classroom behaviour in line with school policies
• Reporting back to teaching staff on student progress and behaviour
• Supporting the wider school team as needed

✅ Ideal Candidates:

• Confident communicators with a proactive attitude
• Experience working with young people (in schools, youth work, coaching, etc.)
• Graduates considering a career in teaching
• Teaching Assistants or Learning Mentors looking to step up
• A valid DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
