Cover Supervisor – East London (Permanent)

Career Teachers is currently recruiting for a confident and reliable Cover Supervisor to join a high-performing secondary school in East London. This is a full-time role starting in September 2025, providing classroom supervision across Key Stages 3 and 4 in the absence of the regular teacher.

Specification

• Previous experience working with young people in a school or similar setting
• Strong classroom management and communication skills
• Ability to follow lesson plans and maintain a positive learning environment
• Flexible, proactive, and professional approach
• Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willing to apply)
• Must be UK-based and eligible to work in the UK

You will be responsible for delivering pre-set lessons, managing classroom behaviour, and ensuring students remain on task during teacher absences.
