I am looking for enthusiastic individuals to join my team of Cover Supervisors to offer support across a number of secondary schools across Leeds.
This role is perfect for an individual who is unsure on the career path that they want to take but has a fantastic positive can do attitude. You will have the luxury of working as little or as much as you like and receive your pay weekly!
About the Role: As a Cover Supervisor, you will:
- Supervise classes during the short-term absence of teachers.
- Ensure a positive learning environment by managing classroom behaviour in a calm professional manner.
- Deliver pre-prepared lessons and support students with their learning.
- Work across various subjects and year groups, providing a flexible and adaptable approach to teaching.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working with young people, ideally in an educational setting is preferred but not essential.
- You will need to have strong communication and organisational skills.
- A positive, friendly and calm attitude and the ability to manage classroom behaviour effectively.
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children is essential.
