This position at a Good Ofsted rated primary school in the London borough of Croydon, will provide boundless opportunities to use creative, interactive and engaging teaching methods that encourage pupils to participate in classroom activities actively and develop cognitive, numerical and verbal reasoning skills.

We are looking for an enthusiastic HLTA who:

  • Has previous experience or has a HLTA qualification.
  • Has experience in teaching early years.
  • Has a thorough knowledge and understanding of the National Curriculum
  • Is an outstanding and passionate Teacher with high expectations of learning and behaviour
  • Is committed to inclusion and to provide exciting learning opportunities for children of all abilities
  • Passionate about working with children
  • Is a fantastic team player
  • The ability to use a computer and the primary office software packages competently, including – Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint.

Qualifications/Certifications

Essential

  • 5 GCSEs at grades 9 to 4 (A* to C), or equivalent, including English, Maths and Science

and

  • Previous in-school teaching experience.
  • Fluent level of English, both spoken and written.
