Are you a dependable, compassionate individual seeking a rewarding, flexible role in the Hackney area? We are looking for a Lunch Time Supervisor to join a Specialist School catering to students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).

What You’ll Be Doing:
Your key responsibilities will include:

• Supporting SEND students: Supervising pupils in the dining hall and various areas of the school, ensuring their safety and well-being.
• Providing personal care: Assisting students with tasks such as toileting, if required.
• Maintaining cleanliness: Tidying up spillages, cleaning up after incidents, and organising dining areas post-lunch.
• Ensuring safety: Keeping pupils away from restricted areas and within the school premises.
• Handling emergencies: Providing care for students who are unwell or injured, ensuring appropriate medical attention is given.
• Child protection: Staying vigilant for safeguarding concerns and reporting them to senior staff.
• Engaging pupils: Supporting play activities and fostering a nurturing environment.

What We’re Looking For:

• Strong communication skills and fluency in English.
• Prior experience in a similar setting is advantageous but not essential.
• Understanding of safeguarding responsibilities.
• A positive, caring attitude and a commitment to supporting SEND students.
• Eligibility to work in the UK.
