We are looking for a passionate and dynamic Maths Teacher to join a thriving school in Bolton on a permanent basis, starting in January 2025. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated educator to take on a key role in shaping the mathematical understanding of students. You will have the chance to work with pupils across a range of abilities, helping them develop strong numeracy skills, a love for the subject, and the confidence to succeed in their academic journey.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated maths lessons to students aged 11-16
  • Use a variety of teaching methods to inspire and motivate learners of all abilities
  • Assess and monitor student’s progress, providing feedback and support to help them improve
  • Contribute to the development of the maths curriculum and participate in extra-curricular activities
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to create a positive learning environment and foster a love of mathematics

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a degree in Mathematics or a related field
  • Experience teaching Maths at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 is desirable
  • Strong classroom management skills and a commitment to fostering a safe and inclusive learning environment
  • A passion for maths education and a commitment to continuous professional development
