Job Description

Career Teachers are seeking a passionate and dedicated Key Stage 2 Primary Teacher to join a welcoming and supportive primary school in Burton-on-Trent. This is a full-time position starting in September 2025, running for the entire academic year.

This role is ideal for both experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECTs) looking to gain valuable experience in a nurturing school environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the KS2 curriculum
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment
• Monitor and assess pupil progress, providing feedback and support
• Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and support staff
• Maintain high standards of behaviour and classroom management

Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK
• Recent experience teaching in Key Stage 2 is essential
• Strong classroom management and communication skills
• A commitment to providing high-quality education and care
• Enthusiasm, creativity, and a proactive approach to teaching
