💷 Pay: £450-£550 per week (based on experience and qualifications)

Are you a recent Psychology graduate eager to make a difference in education? Career Teachers is looking for passionate and committed individuals to join our team as Teaching Assistants in schools across South London.

This is a fantastic opportunity for graduates considering a future in teaching or educational psychology. You’ll gain hands-on experience supporting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in both primary and secondary settings-ideal preparation for PGCE or Schools Direct applications.

What we’re looking for:

• A Psychology (or related) graduate with a genuine interest in education
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students and staff
• A proactive, supportive attitude with a desire to make a meaningful impact
• While experience working with children is a plus, it’s not essential-we welcome graduates from all backgrounds

Your responsibilities will include:

• Supporting students’ learning and emotional development
• Assisting teachers with classroom management and lesson delivery
• Promoting positive behaviour in line with school policies
• Providing tailored support to students with SEN

Requirements:

• An Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one)
