About the Role

We are looking for a caring and committed SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team in Doncaster. This role involves providing tailored support to children with Special Educational Needs, helping them to access learning and reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities

• Support pupils with a range of educational needs in the classroom and during activities.
• Work closely with teachers and SENCO to implement individual education plans (IEPs).
• Promote inclusion and create a positive learning environment.
• Assist with personal care and emotional support where required.
• Ensure safeguarding and child protection policies are followed at all times.

Requirements

• Previous experience working with children with SEN is desirable.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to adapt to different needs and situations.
• Committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
• Preferably registered on the DBS Update Service however, we can process a DBS for you.
