Career Teachers are working with an outstanding SEN Primary School specialising in pupils with Autism, Social Communication Difficulties, and associated behaviours. The school provides a nurturing, structured and highly supportive environment for pupils aged 4-11.
The Role
- Supporting primary-aged pupils with ASD and communication needs
- Using visual supports, structured routines and behaviour-regulation strategies
- Assisting with sensory-based activities and tailored learning tasks
- Supporting pupils 1:1 or in small groups
- Helping to create a calm, safe and engaging classroom environment
What We’re Looking For
- Experience with ASD or behavioural needs (school or care setting)
- A patient, consistent and confident approach
- Strong communication skills and a willingness to learn
- A calm, nurturing and resilient personality
