Position: Teaching Assistant

About the Role:
As a Teaching Assistant, you will be working closely with children with SEND, providing them with the support and encouragement they need to thrive. You will assist the class teacher in delivering tailored learning activities, promoting social interaction, and providing individualised care.
Key Responsibilities:
– Providing one-on-one support to children with complex needs
– Assisting in the implementation of Individual Care Plans
– Creating a nurturing and inclusive learning environment
– Collaborating with the class teacher and SENCO to meet the needs of all students
– Supporting students with personal care, if required
Requirements:
– Previous experience working with children with SEND
– Strong understanding of SEND strategies and interventions
– Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude
– Ability to work effectively as part of a team
– Relevant qualifications or training in SEND support (desirable)
