We are on the looking for a Teaching Assistant to join a vibrant school community in Hyde on a permanent basis, This school has a ‘GOOD’ Ofsted rating and is committed to providing high quality education and a nurturing environment for all of their students.

As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with class teachers to support the learning and development of pupils. You will play a key role in helping children of all abilities, including those with special educational needs (SEN), to thrive in a positive and engaging classroom.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the class teacher in delivering engaging lessons and activities
  • Work with small groups and individual pupils to ensure all students reach their full potential
  • Help maintain a positive, inclusive and safe learning environment
  • Contribute to the schools ethos and values, working closely with staff and parents

The ideal Teaching Assistant will:

  • Have previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar role
  • Be passionate about working with children and supporting their educational development
  • Have strong communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team
  • Show empathy, patience, and a genuine desire to make a positive difference
  • Have a good understanding of safeguarding practices and the needs of primary school-aged children
