We are seeking a motivated and passionate Teaching Assistant to join a team on a permanent basis. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual who is eager to support student’s learning in a dynamic school environment in Bolton. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in helping to create an inclusive and supportive atmosphere, working closely with teachers to ensure every student reaches their full potential.

Key Responsibilities of a Teaching Assistant:

  • Assist teachers in preparing and delivering engaging lessons
  • Support individual students or small groups in their learning activities
  • Help manage classroom behaviour and maintain a positive learning environment
  • Prepare and organise classroom resources and materials
  • Assist in the supervision of students during breaks, lunchtimes, and on school trips
  • Support the implementation of school policies and procedures

Requirements:

  • A passion for education and a commitment to supporting student development
  • Previous experience in a similar role or working with children is desirable
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • The ability to work effectively as part of a team
