At Career Teachers we are currently working with a mainstream primary schools in Derby who require a Teaching Assistants to work on long term, full time from September 2025. We are looking for resilient Level 2, Level 3 or higher qualified Teaching Assistants with strong behaviour management skills to join our successful team.

Your Requirements:

• Experience working with children and young people
• A recognised teaching assistant qualification such as Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in childcare
• Confident in managing challenging behaviours, defusing situations, and making a calm and positive environment for students to progress in
• A calm, patient manner with a positive can-do attitude

Your Role:

• You will be working with the class teacher and other members of support staff to ensure that the pupil receives the care required to cater for their unique needs
• You must be able to build trusting and meaningful relationships and ensure that they are engaged in learning and activities
• This is a full-time role starting this September, we are looking for a committed and passionate teaching assistant who is looking to join a successful team of practitioners and really make a difference
