Teaching Assistant (with personal care duties)

We are seeking passionate and inspiring Teaching Assistants that have experience in personal care to provide support and guidance to students both inside and outside the classroom, catering to a variety of learning needs, including personal care and mobility assistance for specific students.

These will be for full-time positions in term time.

Essential Requirements:

  • Excellent numeracy and literacy skills
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to plan, assess, and deliver literacy or numeracy interventions
  • A strong desire to work with young people and help them realise their potential

Experience:

  • Essential: Experience working with young people in a school setting
  • Essential: Experience with personal care

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the inclusion, social integration, and academic progress of students with SEND, both inside and outside the mainstream classroom
  • Contribute to the delivery, assessment, and monitoring of student progress and support interventions
  • Assist with the personal care needs of specific students
