About the Role:

Career Teachers are seeking an experienced and qualified Year 6 Teacher for a fantastic primary school in Wandsworth, South London! This outstanding school, rated “Good” by Ofsted, prides itself on fostering independence, confidence, and self-belief in its students. This full-time role is set to begin ASAP and is not suitable for ECTs.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Year 6 Teacher, you will:

  • Teach all national curriculum subjects, including Maths, English, Music, and Physical Education.
  • Plan and deliver curriculum-aligned lessons.
  • Create a safe and motivating classroom environment.
  • Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback.
  • Implement behaviour expectations and manage classroom discipline.
  • Assess assignments and tests to track student performance.
  • Communicate effectively with parents and school leaders.

Qualifications and Experience:

We are looking for passionate Primary Teachers with:

  • An Undergraduate Education Degree or equivalent with QTS.
  • Previous in-school teaching experience.
  • Fluency in English, both spoken and written.
  • The right to work in the UK.
  • Expertise in teaching methods and effective communication skills.
  • The ability to inspire students of all abilities.
  • Dedication to creating ideal learning conditions and safeguarding children.
  • Proficiency in office software.
  • Positive, outgoing, and compassionate traits.

Salary:

Earn between £135-£240 per day as a primary supply teacher, depending on experience, or be paid to National Scale (MPS/UPS) for long-term or permanent placements.
