Are you a passionate and adaptable teacher with experience in SEN? We’re looking for an SEMH Teacher to join an OFSTED-rated ‘Outstanding’ Special Needs School in Lambeth, catering to children and young people aged 3-19.

This rewarding role involves supporting students with a wide range of needs, including social, emotional, and mental health difficulties, autism, and complex moderate learning difficulties. The school provides exceptional resources, offering strong support for both staff and students alike.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent overseas teaching qualifications (recognised by NARIC).
  • Experience in SEN, whether in a mainstream or special school setting.
  • A patient, creative, and empathetic approach to working with children.
  • A flexible and collaborative mindset, with excellent communication skills.
  • Existing DBS check on the update service (or willingness to obtain one).

Responsibilities:

  • Teach and support pupils across ages 3-19, following one of the school’s three curriculum pathways tailored to individual needs.
  • Plan and deliver engaging, effective lessons that cater to EHCP requirements.
  • Monitor and assess student progress while safeguarding their welfare.
  • Work closely with teaching assistants and support staff to ensure the best outcomes for pupils.
  • Foster independence and a positive learning environment for all students.
