Here at Career Teachers, we are seeking passionate Teaching Assistants and Learning Support Assistants for roles in Primary Schools across South London. Our roles are fantastic for current students or recent graduates, as we offer flexible roles on a part-time or full-time basis, with opportunities for continuous professional development (CPD). We are looking for candidates to begin immediately or in September of 2024.

We are looking for Teaching Assistants with experience in classroom support, babysitting/childcare, teaching, or other education/childcare roles. Experience working with or looking after children with special educational needs is beneficial, but not a must. You will be supporting students in KS1/KS2, aged from 3 to 11!

Responsibilities of a Teaching Assistant include:

  • Ensuring student safety and facilitating access to learning activities.
  • Contributing to education and behaviour plans.
  • Encouraging inclusivity and embracing diversity.
  • Setting high expectations for student achievement.
  • Providing feedback on student progress.
  • Upholding child protection policies.
  • Assisting with supervision outside of class.
