How Teachers Can Tackle Eating Disorders at School

For those who have never been affected by disorders, it’s easy to form misconceptions around them. “It’s just an eating disorder.” “Eating disorders are a choice”. “Men don’t get eating disorders”. Should Teachers Talk About Politics in the Classroom?

Talking about politics in the classroom has always been controversial. Some teachers flat out refuse to engage. What our candidates say about Career Teachers

“I started working with Career Teachers alongside my studies at university, having the flexibility to choose your availability even catering to half days was perfect for balancing my education and work. My consultant would always communicate very clearly so it made the process very smooth and enjoyable, and he would make sure to support any queries or suggestions I had! Excellent company to work for and perfect for starting off and developing your teaching career.”

Nanija, Early Career Teacher

“I recently joined Career Teachers and I am extremely impressed with their service. After working for 5 years as a class teacher I threw my towel in for supply so that I have a work life balance and flexibility to look after my young toddlers. I joined 3 other agencies and disappointed with them – I may get an occasional call from them but there seems to be no relationship with them or regular work. Caroline stays in touch and keeps me updated with the type of work I need to suit me. I feel confident with this agency! I highly, highly recommend Career Teachers to anyone!”

Asquith, Teacher

“When it comes to this agency, I truly respect them and love how they work. They were really professional and very patient. My consultant was really kind in every step of the way and made everything easy along the way when it comes to my career. I truly thank her for her efforts and patience. She supported me in everything I needed and made sure I was comfortable. Thank you, Career Teachers, it is truly a blessing working with you.”
