An Ofsted-rated ‘Good’ primary school in Stalybridge is seeking an experienced and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join the team on a permanent basis. This role focuses on Key Stage 2 pupils and offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a supportive and inclusive environment.

The successful candidate will:

  • Provide targeted support to individuals and small groups under the guidance of the class teacher
  • Assist with planning and delivering engaging lessons
  • Contribute to creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment
  • Monitor pupil progress and provide feedback to teachers and parents
  • Support children with additional learning needs

Requirements:

Applicants must have experience as a Teaching Assistant, particularly within Key Stage 2. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential, along with the ability to work collaboratively with teachers, staff, and parents. A proactive, enthusiastic, and adaptable approach is vital for this role. Relevant qualifications, such as a Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant Certificate, are desirable but not mandatory if significant experience can be demonstrated.
