Job Description: We are seeking a passionate and enthusiastic Science Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in science education and a commitment to fostering a love of science in students. You will be responsible for delivering engaging and interactive science lessons, developing curriculum materials, and working closely with schools to support their science education needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver high-quality science lessons to students of varying ages and abilities.
  • Develop and implement innovative science curriculum and enrichment programs.
  • Collaborate with school staff to tailor lessons to meet the needs of individual students.
  • Inspire and motivate students to explore and enjoy science.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback and support as needed.
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in science education.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Science, Education, or a related field.
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Experience teaching science at the primary or secondary level.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Passion for science and education.

All quoted rates are inclusive of 12.07% holiday pay.
