Primary Teaching Assistant

Location: Chingford
Full Time, Long Term
Monday – Friday (08:30AM – 4:00PM)
Rate of Pay: £85 – £95 per day

We are looking for a compassionate and enthusiastic Primary Teaching Assistant to join a Primary School in Chingford on a full time long term basis.

Key Responsibilities:

• Classroom Support: Assist the teacher in delivering engaging and effective lessons.
• Individual and Group Support: Provide one-on-one and small group support to students, helping them to achieve their learning goals.
• Resource Preparation: Help prepare teaching materials and resources.
• Behaviour Management: Support the teacher in managing classroom behaviour and maintaining a positive learning environment.
• Student Supervision: Supervise students during breaks, lunchtimes, and other activities.
• Administrative Tasks: Assist with administrative tasks such as record-keeping and organising classroom activities.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Experience: Previous experience working with children in an educational setting is preferred.
• Education: Relevant qualifications in education or childcare are desirable.
• Skills: Strong communication, patience, and organisational skills. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Passion for Education: A genuine interest in supporting children’s learning and development.
