Career Teachers are seeking a Nursery Teacher for a specialist school dedicated to providing exceptional education and support to young children with diverse needs. We are looking for a passionate and skilled individual who will help create a nurturing and inclusive learning environment for the children and young people.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and Deliver Lessons: Develop and implement engaging and age-appropriate lesson plans tailored to the needs of each child.
• Support Child Development: Foster a supportive and nurturing classroom environment that promotes the social, emotional, and cognitive development of young children.
• Monitor and Assess Progress: Regularly assess children’s progress and adapt teaching strategies to meet individual needs.
• Collaborate with Staff: Work closely with other teachers, support staff, and parents to ensure a cohesive approach to child support.
• Classroom Management: Implement effective behaviour management strategies to maintain a positive and productive classroom.
• Inclusive Practices: Develop and maintain inclusive teaching and learning resources to support children with special educational needs.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Experience: Proven experience in teaching nursery-aged children, preferably within a specialist or inclusive setting.
• Education: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Skills: Strong communication, creativity, and classroom management skills. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Special Needs Expertise: Experience working with children with special educational needs is highly valued.
