Your Skills and Qualifications:
Hold a Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an Overseas Teaching Certificate (recognised by Naric)
Proven experience working with SEND students, whether in mainstream or specialist settings
Patience, understanding, and adaptability to individual needs
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Current DBS check (on the update service)
Bonus: Familiarity with PECS, Makaton, Intensive Interaction, or other alternative communication approaches (a plus, but not essential!)
Your Responsibilities:
Craft and deliver engaging lessons tailored to EHCP plans
Assess and monitor student progress
Maintain the highest standards of safeguarding for your pupils
Work collaboratively with teaching and support staff for optimal student outcomes
Encourage independence and prioritise student well-being
