Salary Range: £800 – £1,250 per week (Scale Point Rate)

Your Skills and Qualifications:

• Hold a Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an Overseas Teaching Certificate (recognised by Naric)

• Proven experience working with SEND students, whether in mainstream or specialist settings

• Patience, understanding, and adaptability to individual needs

• Strong communication and teamwork skills

• Current DBS check (on the update service)

• Bonus: Familiarity with PECS, Makaton, Intensive Interaction, or other alternative communication approaches (a plus, but not essential!)

Your Responsibilities:

• Craft and deliver engaging lessons tailored to EHCP plans

• Assess and monitor student progress

• Maintain the highest standards of safeguarding for your pupils

• Work collaboratively with teaching and support staff for optimal student outcomes

• Encourage independence and prioritise student well-being
