About the Role

We are seeking confident, experienced and adaptable Cover Supervisors to join secondary schools in Tower Hamlets. This is an excellent opportunity for graduates, aspiring teachers, or experienced education professionals looking to gain classroom experience. You will supervise lessons during teacher absences, ensuring students remain engaged and learning continues effectively.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver pre-prepared lessons across a range of subjects
• Manage classroom behaviour and maintain a positive learning environment
• Support students with their learning and answer questions where possible
• Follow school policies and safeguarding procedures

Essential Requirements

• Strong communication and classroom management skills
• Ability to engage and motivate secondary students
• Reliable, proactive, and professional approach
• Understanding of safeguarding and child protection

Desirable

• Previous experience in a school setting
• Degree or equivalent qualification
• Interest in pursuing a teaching career
