Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 2:45pm
Contract: Temporary to Permanent
Pay: £90 – £110 per day

Career Teachers are seeking a committed and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join a specialist SEN hub in the S36 area of Sheffield. This role involves supporting pupils aged 11-13 years with a variety of SEN and SEMH needs and begins ASAP.

About the Role

You will:

• Provide supportive 1:1 and small group interventions
• Help pupils regulate emotions and engage successfully in learning
• Work collaboratively with teachers and SEN specialists
• Support pupils with mixed learning, behavioural, and emotional needs
• Contribute to a safe, structured, and nurturing environment

What We’re Looking For

• Background in SEN or SEMH is desirable
• Patience, resilience, and a positive approach
• Strong relationship-building skills
• Passion for inclusion and supporting pupil well-being
