Career Teachers are working with a community primary school in Gainsborough. A forward thinking setting focused on community engagement, they are looking to appoint an exceptional teacher to support within their Y4 class, inspiring pupils through high-quality teaching and memorable learning experiences.

About the Role

This KS2 class require an engaging and inspiring teacher for a short term contract, which is likely to extend. Delivering pre-planned lessons, you will be expected to promote a positive learning environment where all abilities are catered for. Staff are committed to identifying and removing barriers to learning so every child – regardless of their starting point – can thrive. The school nurtures children into confident, creative, and reflective learners with a genuine love of learning and a strong foundation for their transition to secondary school.

We Are Looking For a Teacher Who:

  • Holds a teaching qualification (e.g. PGCE, B.Ed, GTP)
  • Has experience teaching Key Stage Two
  • Demonstrates strong knowledge of the National Curriculum
  • Is an enthusiastic, dynamic classroom practitioner with high expectations
  • Is committed to inclusive education and delivering engaging learning opportunities
  • Has excellent behaviour management and classroom leadership skills
  • Is passionate about working with children and helping them succeed
  • Works effectively as part of a supportive, collaborative team
  • Has competent IT skills, including Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel

Essential Qualifications & Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Previous in-school teaching experience
  • Fluent English – written and spoken
