We are looking for a dedicated and empathetic SEN Teaching Assistant to join a specialist school in South London, supporting learners aged 5-19 with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. Hours: Monday-Friday, 08:30am-4:00pm
Location: South London
Start Date: ASAP

Why You’ll Love This Role

  • Work alongside a passionate, committed team making a genuine impact every day.
  • Receive ongoing training and continuous support as you develop in your career.
  • Enjoy a creative, inclusive environment that focuses on the whole child-not just academics.

Who We’re Looking For

We would love to hear from:

  • Experienced SEN Teaching Assistants
  • Individuals with strong backgrounds supporting children with SEN or SEMH needs
  • Candidates confident in behaviour management and delivering personalised support

Your Main Responsibilities

  • Support pupils with SEMH needs both in class and during wider school activities.
  • Assist teachers in delivering tailored lessons and targeted interventions.
  • Help maintain a calm, structured, and motivating classroom environment.
  • Encourage confidence, resilience, independence, and personal growth.
  • Work collaboratively with teachers, therapists, and families to support each child’s development.

Essential Requirements

  • Previous SEN experience (in a school or relatable setting)
  • A valid DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply through us)
  • Two recent employment references covering the past 24 months

What You’ll Receive

  • Full support from a dedicated consultant throughout your placement
  • Access to ongoing professional development and training
  • A rewarding Refer‑a‑Friend incentive
  • A role where you can genuinely change the trajectory of a child’s life

This opportunity goes far beyond typical classroom support-it’s a chance to contribute to meaningful progress and make a lasting difference.

If you’re ready to inspire, support, and grow within a role that truly matters, we would love to hear from you.

Apply today and take the next step in your SEN journey!
