Music Teacher – Full-Time (Start After Easter)

I am currently recruiting on behalf of a secondary school that is seeking a passionate and dedicated Music Teacher to join their team full time after the Easter break. The school is also open to an earlier start date for the right candidate.

This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled Music specialist who can inspire creativity, deliver engaging lessons, and contribute to a thriving performing arts department.

About the Role

The successful candidate will:

• Teach Music across KS3 and KS4, delivering high‑quality, engaging lessons
• Plan and assess in line with curriculum expectations
• Foster an appreciation of music and support students’ practical performance skills
• Contribute to extracurricular activities such as ensembles, choir, or school performances
• Maintain a positive classroom environment and uphold high standards of behaviour

Requirements

The school is looking for someone who:

• Holds QTS or an equivalent recognised UK teaching qualification
• Has experience teaching Music in a secondary school setting
• Brings strong subject knowledge and enthusiasm for musical education
• Shows confidence with classroom management and student engagement
• Is available to start after Easter, or sooner if possible
• Is committed to safeguarding and promoting student wellbeing
