About the Role

As a Secondary Supply Teacher with Career Teachers, you will:

• Deliver engaging lessons across KS3 and KS4, following school plans and adapting teaching where needed
• Manage classroom behaviour effectively to ensure a positive and productive learning environment
• Build quick rapport with students and staff, demonstrating professionalism and strong communication skills
• Provide continuity for learners by maintaining expectations, completing any required marking, and leaving clear handover notes
• Work flexibly across subjects (specialisms welcomed) and be open to both pre‑booked and same‑day assignments

What We’re Looking For

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• Experience teaching in UK secondary schools
• Strong behaviour management and classroom presence
• Adaptability, resilience, and a positive, proactive attitude
• A current enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
