Are you passionate about helping children overcome barriers and achieve their full potential? We are seeking committed and caring Teaching Assistants to support pupils with additional needs, including SEND, across our school.

About the Role

As a Teaching Assistant working with additional needs, you will:

• Provide tailored support to pupils with a range of needs (e.g. speech & language, ASD, ADHD, SEMH, learning difficulties)
• Deliver small-group and one-to-one interventions
• Work collaboratively with class teachers, SENDCo and other professionals
• Support pupils’ personal, social and emotional development
• Help create an inclusive, nurturing and safe learning environment
• Contribute to EHCP targets, assessments and planning
• Assist with behaviour regulation and positive behaviour support strategies

About You

We are looking for someone who:

• Is empathetic, patient and adaptable
• Has experience or a strong interest in supporting pupils with additional needs
• Communicates effectively with children, staff and families
• Works well as part of a team and shows initiative
• Is committed to inclusive education and high expectations for all learners
• (Desirable) Holds a relevant qualification (e.g. Level 2/3 TA, SEN training)
