Location: DN4 Area, Doncaster
Start Date: Monday 13th April
Contract: Full-time, Long-term (Temporary to Permanent)
Pay: £95 – £110 per day

About the Role

Career Teachers are seeking a Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in the DN4 area of Doncaster from Monday 13th April. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in the Early Years setting, supporting early years development and making a real difference in children’s lives.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality support to the class teacher and pupils in Early Years (Reception and Nursery.)
• Assist with planning and delivering engaging activities tailored to early years learning.
• Support children with special educational needs (SEN) and ensure inclusive practice.
• Monitor and record pupil progress, reporting to the class teacher.
• Promote positive behaviour and create a safe, nurturing environment.
• Work collaboratively with staff and parents to support children’s development.

Skills & Requirements

• Teaching Assistant qualification or experience.
• Experience working in an early years or primary school setting.
• Knowledge of the EYFS framework and child development.
• Ability to adapt to individual needs and provide SEN support.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willing to apply for one)
