About the Role

We are looking for compassionate and proactive SEN Teaching Assistants to support pupils with a range of additional needs in our Sheffield schools. This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about helping children overcome barriers to learning.

Responsibilities:

• Provide 1:1 or small‑group support for pupils with SEND
• Assist the class teacher with planning and classroom activities
• Use strategies tailored to individual pupil needs
• Support social, emotional and behavioural development
• Maintain a safe, inclusive and positive learning environment

Requirements:

• Experience supporting children with SEND (ASD, ADHD, SEMH, MLD, etc.)
• Patience, resilience and strong communication skills
• Ability to build trusting relationships with pupils
• A valid enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
