SEN Teaching Assistants – Be Part of Something Truly Inclusive

We’re supporting a highly innovative primary school in the S5 area of Sheffield that places wellbeing, inclusion and individuality at the heart of everything it does.

The school has a well‑established integrated resource supporting pupils with a range of needs, including:

  • Non‑verbal communication
  • Autism / ASD
  • ADHD
  • Additional and complex needs

They are seeking dedicated SEN Teaching Assistants to work on a full‑time, long‑term basis, with the potential for the role to become permanent for the right person.

About the role You’ll be supporting pupils within the integrated resource as part of a calm, skilled and compassionate team. The school values creativity, patience, and meeting each child where they are – adapting support to suit different learning styles and communication needs.

This is not a “one‑size‑fits‑all” environment. Staff are encouraged to think differently, reflect often, and build meaningful relationships with pupils.

You’ll thrive here if you:

  • Are committed, reliable and emotionally intelligent
  • Bring warmth, creativity and patience to your practice
  • Share the school’s vision around wellbeing and positive change
  • Understand (or are keen to learn about) neurodiversity and inclusive practice

Why join this school?

  • Calm, respectful and supportive environment
  • Strong leadership and clear shared values
  • Creative, non‑traditional approaches to learning
  • Genuine opportunity to become a permanent member of staff

📩 If you’re an SEN TA looking for a role where personality, commitment and shared values truly matter – we’d love to speak with you.
