Food Technology Teacher – Temporary
Contract until July 2026
We are working in partnership with a secondary school to recruit a Food Technology Teacher for a temporary position until July 2026.
This role offers an excellent opportunity for a qualified or experienced teacher to deliver engaging and practical Food Technology lessons within a supportive school environment. The successful candidate will be committed to high standards of teaching and learning and will be able to positively engage students across the relevant key stages.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver high-quality Food Technology lessons in line with the national curriculum
* Plan, prepare and assess students’ work effectively
* Create a safe, inclusive, and well organised practical learning environment
* Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback
* Work collaboratively with departmental staff and wider school teams
Candidate Requirements
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
* Strong subject knowledge in Food Technology
* Proven ability to manage behaviour and engage learners
* A flexible, professional and reliable approach
* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
