A successful and inclusive secondary school in Redbridge is seeking a passionate and skilled English Teacher to join their team from September 2026. This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic practitioner to deliver high-quality English teaching across KS3-KS5.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging, well-structured English lessons that promote strong pupil progress
• Plan and teach a creative, inclusive curriculum across KS3, KS4 & KS5
• Use assessment effectively to inform planning and support pupil outcomes
• Maintain high expectations for behaviour, engagement and achievement
• Contribute positively to departmental development and enrichment activities
• Teach Media Studies where appropriate and subject to experience

Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Strong subject knowledge in English
• Ability to teach Media Studies is desirable but not essential
• Commitment to raising standards and fostering a love of English
• Strong classroom management and communication skills
• A reflective practitioner keen to develop professionally
