Secondary SEND School – Tower Hamlets
We are recruiting experienced Teaching Assistants to join a dedicated and supportive Special Educational Needs secondary school in Tower Hamlets, starting September 2026.
The school supports secondary-aged pupils with PMLD, SLD and Autism, providing a safe, structured and inclusive environment where pupils’ individual needs are at the heart of everything they do.
The Role
As a SEND Teaching Assistant, you will:
- Work full-time, Monday to Friday, 08:30 – 16:00
- Support pupils with complex needs on a 1:1 and small-group basis
- Assist with learning activities, communication support and personal care where required
- Implement strategies set out in EHCPs alongside class teachers and therapists
- Help create a calm, positive and engaging learning environment
