The Role
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:
- Support pupils with SEN needs including ASD, MLD, and related needs
- Work on a 1:1 basis or with small groups
- Assist the class teacher in delivering inclusive, engaging lessons
- Encourage positive behaviour and emotional development
- Help pupils build confidence, independence, and resilience
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience working with SEN pupils, particularly ASD and/or MLD
- A caring, patient, and proactive approach
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- A genuine passion for supporting children’s development and wellbeing
- Ability to adapt to different learning needs and classroom environments
