We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Teacher of English to join a vibrant secondary school in Greenwich from September. What you’ll be doing

• Teaching English – Delivering high‑quality English lessons across KS3 and KS4

• Curriculum planning – Creating engaging schemes of work and lesson plans

• Assessment – Marking, tracking progress, and providing constructive feedback

• Classroom management – Maintaining a positive, inclusive learning environment

• Department contribution – Attending meetings, supporting interventions, and contributing to whole‑school initiatives

What we’re looking for

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

• Strong subject knowledge and a passion for English

• Ability to motivate and inspire students of all abilities

• Excellent communication and organisational skills

• A team‑focused approach and commitment to high standards
