Humanities Teacher (Temporary) – Hackney, East London

Are you a passionate Humanities Teacher looking for a short-term opportunity this autumn? We are seeking a dedicated and engaging teacher to join a secondary school in Hackney from September through to December.

Key Details:

• 💷 £160-£200 per day
• 📍 Hackney, East London
• 🏫 Secondary school
• 📅 September – December (temporary)
• 🕒 Full-time, Monday to Friday

The Role:

You will be responsible for delivering high-quality Humanities lessons (Geography, History, or a combination) across Key Stages 3 and 4. The successful candidate will plan engaging lessons, manage behaviour effectively, and support students in achieving strong academic outcomes.

Requirements:

• ✅ UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• ✅ Right to work in the UK
• ✅ Experience teaching Humanities at secondary level
• ✅ Strong classroom management and communication skills
