Hours: 8:00am – 4:00pm, Monday-Friday (Term Time Only)

A welcoming all-girls secondary school in Tower Hamlets is seeking a dedicated Female SEN Teaching Assistant to join their SEN team from September 2026.
This rewarding role involves supporting students with additional needs both in and out of the classroom, helping them access learning, develop independence, and achieve their full potential.
The successful candidate must have previous experience providing personal care and be confident supporting students with manual handling requirements.
The Role
✅ Supporting students with a range of SEND needs
✅ Providing personal care and intimate care when required
✅ Assisting with manual handling and mobility support
✅ Working 1:1 and in small groups
✅ Supporting students’ academic, social, and emotional development
✅ Working closely with teachers, SENCOs, and external professionals
Requirements
✔ Previous SEN experience
✔ Experience with personal care and manual handling
✔ Compassionate, patient, and resilient approach
✔ Strong communication and teamwork skills
✔ Available full-time from September 2026
