SEN Teaching Assistant – Mainstream Secondary & SEND Schools (Ages 11-19)
Location: East London
Start Date: ASAP or September 2026
Rate: £93-£110 per day via PAYE

We are looking for compassionate and reliable SEN Teaching Assistants to support students aged 11-19 within dedicated SEND schools and Mainstream Secondary Schools across East London.
This is a rewarding opportunity for individuals who are available Monday-Friday during term time on a long-term basis, starting from September 2026.
We are particularly keen to hear from candidates with personal care experience, a strong background in SEND, and who hold a valid child and adult DBS.

Key Responsibilities:
* Providing personal care, including changing and toileting, in a dignified and respectful manner
* Supporting students with mobility around the school, including wheelchair use where required
* Assisting with transfers (including hoist use where applicable)
* Supporting learning in the classroom, adapting activities to meet individual needs
* Working closely with SEN teams and following individual care and education plans
* Promoting inclusion, wellbeing, and independence throughout the school day

Requirements:
* Availability Monday to Friday, term time only, on a long-term basis
* Ability to start ASAP or from September 2026
* Experience supporting students with SEND and/or complex needs (highly desirable)
* Confidence delivering personal care in a professional and sensitive manner
* Experience or training with hoists and mobility support (preferred)
* A calm, patient, and nurturing approach
* Valid child and adult DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
