* Full-time position – Monday to Friday 8:15am to 15:30pm
* Location – Hillingdon
* £75 to £95 per day

Are you a pro-active individual with the patience and creativity to be a successful SEMH Teaching Assistant? Working within a Specialist School is incredibly rewarding but requires out-of-the-box thinkers who must be proficient in creating a nurturing and inclusive environment, helping students achieve their best.

You will be supporting within one of our Ofsted-rated specialist schools in Hillingdon as a Teaching Assistant and will work alongside the class teacher to ensure each child progresses toward their goals. As a Teaching Assistant/Support Worker, you will gain experience working with children with Social, Emotional and Mental Health, Autism, Challenging Behaviour and other potential additional needs.

Suitable Candidates for this role will have any of the following experience-

  • Teaching Assistant/Learning Support Assistant/HLTA
  • Carer for adults or children with additional needs.
  • Personal care
  • Youth Worker
  • Sports/Football Coach
  • Experience Volunteering with additional needs adults or children
  • Bachelor’s or Master in – English, Maths, Science, Drama, PE, Psychology Etc.

The Supply Teaching Assistant will have:

* Strong understanding of the requirement to support pupils with additional needs
* Experience supporting young people with SEN would be advantageous
* Adaptability, be motivated and able to take initiative
