Career Teachers are looking for experienced SEN Teaching Assistants in Birmingham.

Although experience of working with a variety of needs is preferred, what is essential is that you have a passion and enthusiasm for going above and beyond for children of all needs. There are part time, full time and long term roles with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate. Successful candidates will earn a minimum of £85 a day.

The ideal SEN Teaching Assistant should be:

  • Have experience of working with children with SEN on 1:1 basis or in classes.
  • Preferred training or experience in Makaton, PECS or be Team Teach trained.
  • Be passionate about working with SEN children.
  • Be flexible, proactive and patient.
  • Be able to communicate effectively within a team.
  • Be committed to work full-time.
