We are currently seeking a compassionate and dedicated Teaching Assistant to work 1:1 with children with special educational needs.

The Role:
As a 1:1 Teaching Assistant, you will provide tailored support to children with SEN, helping them to achieve their full potential. You will work closely with teachers, parents, and other professionals to create a nurturing and effective learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:
– Provide individualised support to children with SEN in various educational settings.
– Assist with the implementation of Individual Education Plans and other learning programs.
– Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
– Monitor and record the child’s progress and communicate effectively with teachers and parents.
– Support classroom activities and help maintain an organised and engaging learning space.

Requirements:
– Previous experience working with children with special educational needs is preferred.
– A patient, empathetic, and positive approach to working with children.
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
– Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
– A commitment to the welfare and development of children.
– Relevant qualifications or training in SEN support is advantageous.
