Career Teachers are seeking a dedicated 1:1 Teaching Assistant to join our team and support a child in Key Stage 2 with special educational needs (SEND) at an infant school in Derbyshire. This is a full-time position running from September 2024 to July 2025.

Key Responsibilities:
– Provide tailored 1:1 support to a child with SEND in Key Stage 2.
– Assist with the child’s educational and developmental needs.
– Implement individualised education plans (IEPs) and strategies.
– Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
– Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support the child’s progress.

Requirements:
– Previous experience supporting children with SEND.
– Strong understanding of special educational needs and effective support strategies.
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
– Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude.
– Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
