Art Teacher – ALP – Leicester

We are seeking an enthusiastic Art Teacher to join our team at our specialist SEN school, catering for students aged 3-19 with Autism and additional related needs.

In this role as our Art Teacher, you will engage, motivate and encourage our pupils with a rich and interesting curriculum that captivates all of their senses.

You will need to demonstrate patience, resilience, and a good sense of humour, as is the ability to tap into the creative energy and ideas of our students, fostering the development of their artistic talents.

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).

Job Description – Art Teacher

· Working in a dedicated SEND school

· Collaborating with other professionals

· Full Time, 37.5 hours per week, Term Time Only OR Part-time

· Long Term / Permanent contract

· April Start or as soon as possible

· Competitive Salary (depending on experience)

· Located north of Leicester City Centre

Person Specification Art Teacher

· Art Teacher

· Must have UK QTS

· Prior experience working with children with Autism

· Must be passionate about SEN

· Must be committed and reliable

· Must have excellent communication skills

· Ability to work as part of a team

· Adaptable and innovative

· Excellent reporting skills to inform pupil development

· Calm and compassionate nature
