Requirements

• Immediate right to work in the UK
• Proven experience supporting students with SEMH needs in a PRU, alternative provision, or similar setting
• A patient, empathetic, and resilient approach
• Strong behaviour management skills and the ability to de-escalate challenging situations
• Flexibility to adapt to a dynamic and varied environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• An existing DBS check on the update service is essential

Responsibilities

• Supporting the implementation of the school behaviour policy to ensure a positive and inclusive learning environment
• Building trust and positive relationships with students to foster engagement and motivation
• Working collaboratively with teaching staff and external professionals to develop tailored interventions for pupils
• Supporting students in managing their emotions and behaviours effectively, promoting self-regulation and independence
• Facilitating small-group or 1:1 sessions to address specific learning or behavioural needs
• Ensuring the safeguarding and welfare of all students in your care at all times
